"When people tell me they could listen to me talk about food all day, it’s a great comfort. Not just because it means they like both me personally and the passionate way I describe it... but because, frankly, I could talk about food all day. And then probably wake up the next morning with a jolt, saying something like, 'Did I mention the ketchup leather?'
I love food, people. I just do. I love playing around with it, I love seeing what innovative things others are doing with it, and above all, I just love to eat it.
The great thing about food is that it satisfies both practical and frivolous needs. Wake up feeling like you got trampled by a herd of influenza buffalo? Thank god there are a fleet of food trucks slinging everything from gourmet grilled cheese to sushi burritos to the best damn tacos you'll ever lay mouth upon.

You'll find a lot of pictures of me with burgers out there because, well, a) I like them, and b) I'm in a burger club. We're called Team Burger, we have matching t-shirts, and we're really cool and are not huge dorks at all. (Yes, I have favorites. Yes, I'm willing to name names. Let's talk.)"
